Avionics
When this unit was established in 1984, its main purpose was the repair and overhaul of aircraft instruments. Later the capability was extended to include aircraft radios and a number of new dealerships, the principle one being Bendix/King.
Today, NAC Avionics is housed in a 500 sq m workshop with a workforce of over 20 trained technicians. The team provides Avionic sales and maintenance services over a wide range of products to in-house clients, aircraft owners, operators of general, businesses and regional aircraft companies.
As a fully integrated part of NAC's Fixed Wing Maintenance division, it concentrates on a wide variety of Avionics services to piston, turbine, jet and rotor wing aircraft. The FAA repair station approval allows for the service, repair and installation of Avionic equipments into 'N' registered aircraft.

The installation of Chadwick balancing equipment, repair and calibration is the complete Avionics package for new Bell helicopters.
Flight Data Recorder downloads
Download, transcription, report and certification of FDR data is an on-site service - we go to clients.
Chelton EFIS sales and installation
By March 2008, a total of 6 helicopters will have had Chelton EFIS installed.
Altair ADAS sales and installation
We are authorized as ADAS installers for King Air, Beech 1900, Cessna 208 & helicopters.
Retail over-counter sales
Headsets, GPS, handheld radios, etc.
FAA Repair Station approval
At airports countrywide we are the only FAA approved facility servicing general and business aviation: we carry out Avionic installs into 'N' registered aircraft and effect equipment repairs with 8130-3 certification.
