NAC TAKING A STAND AGAINST YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT

In 2023, NAC took a deliberate step towards youth development by participating in the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative for the first time. What initially began as a complementary effort to support our BBBEE objectives has since evolved into a meaningful talent development pipeline—one that allows us to identify promising young individuals and nurture their growth over a structured 12-month period.

As we have concluded our 4th intake, the impact of the programme is already evident. We are proud to have permanently employed 14 participants into permanent roles within the business, with a further four individuals placed in other organisations of employment. These are not just numbers—they are real success stories of growth, determination, and opportunity.

Our continued commitment to the YES programme, including our decision to continue taking part in the program, reflects our belief in the power of investing in people. By creating opportunities for young talent, we are not only shaping individual futures but also contributing to the sustainable growth of the aviation industry as a whole.

At NAC, we remain dedicated to empowering the next generation—because when potential is given the opportunity to take flight, the possibilities are endless.
