NAC Helicopter Maintenance remains the first choice for Bell

Bell Helicopters, entering its 30 year relationship with Bell, has renewed its customer support agreement with NAC Helicopter Maintenance for another three years, enabling NAC to continue providing the highest levels of service and support to owners of Bell aircraft in South Africa.

Redmond Fowle, Executive Director of Helicopter Maintenance at NAC, commented: "This agreement expands and strengthens NAC’s ability to provide Bell Helicopter’s support and service network and offers our Bell customers in South Africa a more comprehensive support solution."

Globally recognised for world-class customer service, innovation and superior quality, Bell Helicopter’s Approved Customer Support Facilities (CSFs) must meet rigorous requirements, including maintaining a staff of Bell Helicopter trained mechanics, retaining tooling and inventory requirements necessary to meet customers' needs and approval by local regulatory authorities.

NAC’s Rand Airport Helicopter maintenance division is the only Bell CSF in sub-Saharan Africa and employs factory trained staff specialising in the supply of Bell Helicopter maintenance services, including component overhauls of the 206 B and L, 505, 407, 222, 230, 430 and 412 models.

The facility supplies OEM original parts, either from inventory or via consolidated weekly shipments from Bell’s Amsterdam or Fort Worth warehouses, and also stocks a selection of exchange components. This allows NAC to provide seamless service while reducing downtime and parts cost for customers

The maintenance team is qualified to carry our approved structural repairs on a number of models and are experts in helping customers manage their warranties.
