NAC keeps innovating in the aviation parts industry

NAC Parts, a division of Africa’s largest general aviation company, is setting its sights on further diversifying its parts service and improving its already impressive capabilities in supplying aviation parts in Africa. The company has an existing footprint in Africa, serving clients in countries such as Namibia, Kenya, Zambia, Angola and Botswana, and is now looking to increase its reach into Sub-Saharan and East African regions to compete with parts suppliers from Europe and the USA.

As Deon de Lange, Manager of NAC Parts, explains, “All aircraft parts are regulated by aviation authorities such as the FAA, SACAA etc. and quality is ensured through certification. This thins out the supplier source down to key suppliers, which in turn makes it very difficult for local suppliers to differentiate themselves in the current market. At NAC we’ve always had strong relationships with global suppliers and are focused on developing the most innovative and efficient logistics processes to ensure we can set ourselves apart by offering our clients the best shipping, costs and service delivery.”

Based in South Africa and with decades of experience dealing with the challenges of working within Africa, NAC is perfectly positioned to provide new clients throughout Africa with the same high levels of customer service that its local customer base has come to expect.

As de Lange says, “Your relationship with your parts supplier is crucial. Freight forwarding and logistics are now just as important. This business is all about returning customers and finding ways to keep them coming back based on certified quality, price and service.”

While remaining tight-lipped on the details, de Lange did hint that some exciting new developments are currently in the pipeline that will have a positive impact on parts sourcing requests and sales for NAC and its clients. We look forward to future announcements – watch this space.
